This Privacy Policy describes how tiny-memory ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and handles your personal information when you use our Telegram-based digital gratitude journaling bot and associated web landing page (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

To provide our Service, we strictly collect only the information necessary to register your account, verify your identity, and save your daily gratitude entries:

Telegram Profile Details: We collect your unique Telegram User ID, first name, last name, and username to set up and customize your journaling experience.
Verified Contact Information: During onboarding, we request that you share your phone number. We use this to verify your identity and protect against session spoofing, ensuring your private journal entries remain secure.
Timezone Settings: We store your chosen timezone offset so that our automated morning and evening dispatch schedules trigger at your correct local time.
Journal Entries: We store the gratitude notes (text) and photo uploads you send directly to the bot. Photos are uploaded and stored securely in a private S3 storage bucket.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect strictly to operate the core functionality of the gratitude journaling service:

To process, store, and count your entries (enforcing the limit of exactly 3 entries per local day).
To dispatch morning gratitude cues (cues sent at 8:30 AM local time).
To dispatch nostalgic memory echoes of your past posts (echoes sent at 5:30 PM local time).
To verify your identity and keep your private notes isolated from other users.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your journal entries or personal data to outside parties. All backend systems, code, and databases are hosted securely within Amazon Web Services (AWS).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information only as long as you maintain an active journaling subscription with the bot.

Account Deletion: You can stop using the bot at any time by stopping or blocking it in your Telegram app. If you wish to permanently delete your profile, verified contact details, and all of your gratitude text/photo history from our AWS databases and S3 bucket, please send a deletion request to the contact email listed below. We will delete all of your data within 5 business days of receiving your request.

5. Security

We take the security of your private journaling habits seriously. All transaction data is handled securely within AWS, and photos are kept in private S3 buckets. We use secure HTTPS transport for all interactions with the Telegram Bot API and our landing page.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date at the top.
